Road Planing

At J. Fisher & Sons, we have a comprehensive fleet of road planers that are suitable for every application, ranging from Mini Planers for small works and footpaths to high-performance cold milling machines mounted on crawler tracks for the removal of pavement structures such as roads and runways.

Wirtgen W35DC (small milling machine)
-ideal for carrying out partial pavement repairs

Wirtgen W50DC (small milling machine)
-perfect for milling trenches or removing pavement strips

Wirtgen W100F (cold milling machine)
-used for rehabilitating large surfaces or for removing asphalt layers

Wirtgen W120F (cold milling machine)
-used for rehabilitating large surfaces or for removing asphalt layers

Wirtgen W2100 (high-performance cold milling machine)
-used for rehabilitating large surfaces or for removing asphalt layers

All three of our W35DCs have the capabilities to work as a standard 350mm or with optional 500mm cutting drums. In addition, we also have a number of fine milling drums, which are commonly used for white line removal, anti-skid coatings and bridge water proofing removal.

Our planing service includes everything needed for the job, from transporting the equipment on our fleet of low loaders to providing roadsweepers and tippers for the removal of road planings.

All of our road planers are operated by experienced personnel, trained to the highest standards, and are available to meet any deadline throughout the North West.
